The Match is finally scheduled to go ahead tonight, Wednesday 30 January. I can’t go, but I’m rooting for the team.
Well, it ended in a 1-1 draw. Halifax scored first, but Danny Harris did the job as a substitute in the second half. Reported a Red card for one of Halifax Town’s player Chris Worsley after a heavy tackle on the halfway line. Looks like a replay at Dartford … and then on to Grimsby (who beat Luton 3:0). The replay is now fixed for Wednesday 6 February – the day after the massive FA International Challenge Cup Semi-Final between England v Turkey game at Princes Park. So for me, two matches consecutively.
